Reviews:

Where the Scary Things Are has plenty of great-looking scenes and a creature that looks like Return of the Living Dead’s Tarman on steroids. But it’s wasted on a story revolving around a bunch of unlikable @ssholes. If you’re going to make the bad guys the focus of the film, they have to be interesting, The Dockers are just mean little sh-ts taken to the next level.” 1 out of 5, Voices from the Balcony

Where the Scary Things Are will be available on Digital and DVD on June 28, 2022.

Background:
Where the Scary Things Are examines the dark nature of post-Columbine kids and their growing lack of empathy in the internet age. It is a dark take on the 80s ‘kids in weird circumstances’ such as Stand By MeThe Goonies, Stephen King’s IT. There are also homages to modern media such as Super 8 and Stranger Things.
